Use these as design starting points. Always check the exact product dimensions, ceiling conditions and required clearances before ordering.
Add the room length and width in feet. Use the total in inches as an approximate chandelier or ceiling-light diameter.
12 ft + 14 ft = approximately 26 in / 66 cm diameter
A dining fixture around one-half to two-thirds of the table width usually creates balanced proportions and comfortable sightlines.

Before returning an item: Email info@noctlight.com and wait for written return authorization, return instructions, and the correct warehouse address. Returns sent without prior authorization may not be accepted.
1. Return Window
You may request a return or exchange within 30 calendar days of the confirmed delivery date. A request is not complete until you have contacted us and received written return authorization. Requests submitted after the 30-day period may be declined unless applicable law requires otherwise.
2. Return Eligibility
To qualify for a return, the product must be:
- Unused, uninstalled, unwired, and unmodified;
- Free from scratches, damage, wear, or signs of assembly;
- Complete with all shades, canopies, hardware, accessories, manuals, and labels;
- Repacked in its original protective materials and original carton;
- Accompanied by valid proof of purchase.
Opening a carton for careful inspection does not automatically make an item ineligible, provided the product and all packaging remain complete and undamaged.

6. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
Inspect your order promptly after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within seven days so that we can preserve available carrier-claim options. Include photos of the unopened carton, shipping label, internal protection, complete product, and affected area.
Do not install, repair, discard, or return the product or its packaging until we provide instructions. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer replacement parts, technical assistance, a replacement product, repair, a return, or a refund. Reporting within seven days helps us investigate a shipping claim but does not reduce any non-waivable legal rights.
7. Non-Returnable Items
The following are generally not eligible for preference-based returns:
- Custom-made, personalized, modified, or made-to-specification products after production has begun;
- Products that have been installed, hardwired, assembled, altered, damaged, or visibly used;
- Items missing original components, hardware, protective packaging, or accessories;
- Final-sale items, gift cards, and separately purchased replacement parts marked non-returnable before purchase;
- Products damaged by improper installation, misuse, incompatible voltage, unauthorized repair, or inadequate return packaging.
These exclusions do not apply where a verified defect or applicable consumer-protection law gives you a right to a remedy.
8. Exchanges
Exchange requests follow the same authorization and eligibility requirements as returns. The fastest available method may be to return the original eligible item and place a separate order for the replacement. Price differences, shipping costs, availability, and production lead times will be confirmed before an exchange is processed.
9. Optional Alternative Resolution
For certain preference-based returns, we may offer an optional partial refund if you keep the item, which can help avoid high international or oversized return-shipping costs. Any offer will be confirmed in writing and depends on the product and circumstances. You are not required to accept this option, and it does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
10. Order Changes and Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Orders may be cancelled without charge before processing or production begins. Once materials have been ordered, customization or production has begun, or carrier services have been booked, documented nonrecoverable costs may apply where permitted by law and disclosed before the cancellation is completed.
After dispatch, an order normally cannot be cancelled. If you no longer want the item, accept delivery and follow the authorized return process. Refusing delivery without written approval may create carrier return, storage, customs, or handling costs. Actual nonrecoverable costs caused by an unauthorized refusal may be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund where permitted by law.
11. Refund Review and Timing
- Receipt: Tracking must show delivery to the authorized return facility.
- Inspection: We aim to inspect the product and packaging within 3–5 business days after receipt.
- Decision: We will notify you by email whether the return is approved and explain any permitted deduction.
- Refund: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, generally within 7–14 business days after inspection.
Your bank or payment provider may need additional processing time before funds appear. Original expedited shipping charges, customs duties, taxes remitted to authorities, and nonrecoverable carrier charges are not refundable unless required by law or the return resulted from our error.
12. Refund Deductions
Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced for loss in value caused by handling beyond reasonable inspection, missing parts, installation, damage, inadequate packaging, or failure to follow authorized return instructions. We will explain any deduction. No arbitrary restocking fee is charged for an otherwise eligible return unless a product-specific term was clearly disclosed before purchase.

- Screen and finish variation: Colors and finishes may appear different because of display settings, photography, lighting conditions, and production batches.
- Measurement tolerance: Hand-measured dimensions may vary slightly. Minor differences that do not affect safe use are not necessarily defects.
- Natural materials: Alabaster, marble, travertine, wood, rattan, leather, and other natural materials have unique veining, grain, texture, and tone. These inherent variations are part of the material.
- Handcrafted products: Small variations associated with hand-finishing may occur and do not automatically indicate a manufacturing defect.
Nothing in this section excludes a remedy where a product is materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet rights provided by applicable law.
