Noctlight · Project & Trade Support
Our complimentary project review and 3D lighting visualization service helps homeowners, interior designers and trade professionals evaluate scale, placement, finish and atmosphere before approving an eligible lighting order.
Designed Around Your Space
Lighting can feel very different on a product page than it does beneath a real ceiling. Our project team uses your room information, reference imagery and selected Noctlight fixture to prepare a visual planning proposal for eligible projects.
The goal is practical: understand the relationship between fixture, furniture and architecture before the order moves forward.
Review diameter, drop, spacing and overall presence within the room.
Evaluate centering, grouping and alignment above key furniture.
Consider available metal, glass, stone, wood or textile options.
Identify obvious proportion or clearance concerns during planning.
Project Scope
We review residential and commercial enquiries individually. Service scope and deliverables depend on the fixture, information supplied and project complexity.
Dining rooms, living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, stairwells, foyers and private villas.
Restaurants, boutique hotels, cafés, bars, reception areas and guest suites.
Retail spaces, showrooms, galleries, offices, studios and client-facing environments.
Selected dimensions, suspension drops, canopy configurations and coordinated fixture groupings.
What Can Be Explored
Depending on feasibility and the selected product, a proposal may explore:
The Process
Every project begins with information, not assumptions. You remain involved at each decision point, and production begins only after the final written specification and payment terms are approved.
Send dimensions, photos, drawings, destination country, selected fixtures, finish direction and quantity.
We assess the available information, product suitability, customization options and service scope.
For eligible projects, we prepare a scaled drawing, finish reference or 3D visualization.
You provide consolidated feedback. Reasonable revisions within the agreed scope may be incorporated.
After written approval, final quotation and required payment, the order can move into production.
Prepare Your Enquiry
The more complete your brief, the more accurately we can evaluate scale, placement and available product options.
Begin Your Project
Send the essential details below. We will review your enquiry and reply with the available next step, requested information and expected service scope.
Noctlight Planning Guide
Choose lighting with confidence using practical sizing formulas, room-specific recommendations and both US and metric measurements.
Use these as design starting points. Always check the exact product dimensions, ceiling conditions and required clearances before ordering.
Add the room length and width in feet. Use the total in inches as an approximate chandelier or ceiling-light diameter.
12 ft + 14 ft = approximately 26 in / 66 cm diameter
A dining fixture around one-half to two-thirds of the table width usually creates balanced proportions and comfortable sightlines.
40 in table = approximately 20–27 in / 51–69 cm fixture
Multiply ceiling height in feet by 2.5–3 inches to estimate a visually balanced chandelier height in an open area.
10 ft ceiling = approximately 25–30 in / 64–76 cm fixture height
Measure from the lowest point of the fixture to the furniture surface. For multiple pendants, measure center-to-center spacing.
Hang pendant bottoms about 30–36 in / 76–91 cm above the counter. Space centers approximately 24–30 in / 61–76 cm apart, adjusted for shade width.
Keep the fixture inside the table perimeter and position its lowest point approximately 30–36 in / 76–91 cm above the tabletop.
Above a nightstand, allow around 12–20 in / 30–51 cm between the shade bottom and the surface, then adjust for seated eye level and reach.
This chart gives a practical first estimate for a single central decorative fixture. Open-plan rooms and unusually tall ceilings may require a larger fixture or a multi-light composition.
| Room area | Suggested diameter | Common applications | Metric reference |
|---|---|---|---|
| Under 80 sq ft | 12–18 in | Small bathroom, closet, compact hallway | 30–46 cm |
| 80–150 sq ft | 18–24 in | Bedroom, breakfast area, small dining room | 46–61 cm |
| 150–250 sq ft | 24–30 in | Dining room, bedroom, medium living room | 61–76 cm |
| 250–400 sq ft | 30–40 in | Large living room, open dining space | 76–102 cm |
| 400+ sq ft | 40–54 in or cluster | Open-plan room, foyer, commercial interior | 102–137 cm or custom |
Approximate design guidance only. 1 sq ft = 0.0929 m². Use the room formula and furniture dimensions for a more tailored result.
Choose flush or semi-flush fixtures to preserve headroom. Avoid long drops in circulation areas.
Pendants and chandeliers work well. Maintain at least 7 ft / 213 cm clearance where people walk beneath.
Consider taller chandeliers, extended suspension lengths or multi-light clusters. Confirm service access and structural support.
The correct scale depends on both the room and the surface beneath the fixture. These recommendations help balance visibility, comfort and usable light.
Make the fixture a focal point without blocking conversation or extending beyond the table.
Prioritize even task light and clear sightlines across the kitchen.
Combine ambient, task and accent lighting rather than relying on one central fixture.
Use warm, layered lighting and keep bedside controls within comfortable reach.
Side sconces generally provide more even facial illumination than a single overhead light.
Use vertical volume in a foyer while protecting circulation and door clearances.
| Table size | Single fixture | Multiple-fixture option | Recommended height |
|---|---|---|---|
| 36–42 in / 91–107 cm round | 16–22 in / 41–56 cm | Usually one fixture | 30–36 in / 76–91 cm above table |
| 48–60 in / 122–152 cm long | 22–30 in / 56–76 cm | Two fixtures, 10–16 in / 25–41 cm each | 30–36 in / 76–91 cm above table |
| 72–84 in / 183–213 cm long | 28–40 in / 71–102 cm or linear | Two fixtures, 16–22 in / 41–56 cm each | 30–36 in / 76–91 cm above table |
| 96 in / 244 cm or longer | Linear fixture or custom composition | Two to three evenly spaced pendants | Adjust for shade scale and sightlines |
| Fixture | Starting position | Important checks |
|---|---|---|
| General wall sconce | Center around 60–66 in / 152–168 cm above floor | Projection, glare, furniture and door clearance |
| Bedside wall light | Position for comfortable reading while seated | Reach, switch location and pillow/head clearance |
| Picture light | Width around ½–⅔ of artwork width | Beam spread, wall projection and artwork sensitivity |
| Bedside table lamp | Shade bottom close to seated eye level | Nightstand height, shade diameter and reading position |
| Floor lamp beside seating | Shade lower edge near seated eye level | Foot traffic, base stability and task direction |
Photograph the installation area and record the following information if you would like Noctlight to help review the scale.
Length, width, ceiling height and distances to walls, doors, fans and sprinklers.
Table, island, nightstand or artwork width, length and finished height.
Junction-box position, canopy space, ceiling slope and structural support.
Width, height, minimum drop, maximum drop, canopy and wall projection.
Center it over the dining table. The furniture arrangement—not necessarily the room center—should determine the fixture location.
Yes, when it is intentional and the clearances remain safe. Visually light materials, open frames and translucent shades can create drama without making the room feel crowded.
Use the same room and furniture formulas, then verify that the canopy supports a sloped installation and that the supplied suspension length can create the required drop.
Consider the room’s visual weight. Choose the larger option for tall ceilings or open-plan spaces and the smaller option for dense furniture layouts or fixtures with visually heavy materials.
Clear, practical return guidance for designer lighting, fragile materials, oversized fixtures, and made-to-order products.

Huayi Plaza
Guzhen Town, Zhongshan, Guangdong

This China return location may be assigned to factory-fulfilled, oversized, customized, or international orders. The exact recipient details and delivery instructions will be provided with your written return authorization.
Do not ship to either warehouse without written authorization. Returns sent to the wrong location may be refused, delayed, or incur additional forwarding costs. Those costs may be deducted from a refund where permitted by law and where they result from failure to follow the provided instructions.
Inspect your order promptly after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, defective, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and preferably within seven days so that we can preserve available carrier-claim options. Include photos of the unopened carton, shipping label, internal protection, complete product, and affected area.
Do not install, repair, discard, or return the product or its packaging until we provide instructions. Depending on the circumstances, we may offer replacement parts, technical assistance, a replacement product, repair, a return, or a refund. Reporting within seven days helps us investigate a shipping claim but does not reduce any non-waivable legal rights.
The following are generally not eligible for preference-based returns:
These exclusions do not apply where a verified defect or applicable consumer-protection law gives you a right to a remedy.
Exchange requests follow the same authorization and eligibility requirements as returns. The fastest available method may be to return the original eligible item and place a separate order for the replacement. Price differences, shipping costs, availability, and production lead times will be confirmed before an exchange is processed.
For certain preference-based returns, we may offer an optional partial refund if you keep the item, which can help avoid high international or oversized return-shipping costs. Any offer will be confirmed in writing and depends on the product and circumstances. You are not required to accept this option, and it does not limit rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to change or cancel an order. Orders may be cancelled without charge before processing or production begins. Once materials have been ordered, customization or production has begun, or carrier services have been booked, documented nonrecoverable costs may apply where permitted by law and disclosed before the cancellation is completed.
After dispatch, an order normally cannot be cancelled. If you no longer want the item, accept delivery and follow the authorized return process. Refusing delivery without written approval may create carrier return, storage, customs, or handling costs. Actual nonrecoverable costs caused by an unauthorized refusal may be deducted from an otherwise eligible refund where permitted by law.
Your bank or payment provider may need additional processing time before funds appear. Original expedited shipping charges, customs duties, taxes remitted to authorities, and nonrecoverable carrier charges are not refundable unless required by law or the return resulted from our error.
Where permitted by law, a refund may be reduced for loss in value caused by handling beyond reasonable inspection, missing parts, installation, damage, inadequate packaging, or failure to follow authorized return instructions. We will explain any deduction. No arbitrary restocking fee is charged for an otherwise eligible return unless a product-specific term was clearly disclosed before purchase.
Nothing in this section excludes a remedy where a product is materially different from its description or otherwise fails to meet rights provided by applicable law.
Nothing in this policy limits statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded. Where the consumer law of your country or state provides greater protection, that law applies.

Many of our designs feature efficient LED technology for beautiful, dependable everyday illumination.
Our bedroom has floating oak shelves instead of regular nightstands. The 3.5-inch diameter fits easily and the black frame gives just enough contrast against the pale wood.
At full brightness I don't get the same longevity as when I keep it dimmed, which makes sense but is worth knowing. For a normal dinner and evening on medium, it has been more than enough.
This moves between my desk, kitchen island, and bedside table depending on what I'm doing. The aluminum body feels substantial, and being able to change both brightness and color temperature makes the small lamp genuinely useful.
I carry it to a chair by the window after dinner. At the brighter setting I can read comfortably, then I dim it when I'm done. No cord running across the floor is a big plus in that corner.
I expected to pick one setting and ignore the others, but I use 3000K when sorting mail at the console and 2200K later in the evening. The change in mood is noticeable without being gimmicky.
Exactly what I needed for a narrow console. No visible charging wire while it's in use, a small footprint, and a soft 2700K glow.
We have a tiny covered terrace with a two-seat bistro table. One gold lantern in the center adds enough light for a late snack and feels much more relaxed than turning on the wall sconce.
I turn this on at 2200K before sunrise so I can make coffee without waking the whole house with the ceiling lights. The warm glow covers the little breakfast area perfectly.
I use the silver lamp at one end of a long bathroom vanity for softer evening light. The PC diffuser hides the bright LED point nicely. I keep it away from direct water even though the lamp is IP54 rated.
The 3000K option is surprisingly helpful when I'm working on a puzzle and need to distinguish similar colors. Later I switch it back to 2200K so the coffee table doesn't look like a workbench.
I bought the gold one for my sister's new apartment because her dining nook has no outlet. She uses it for dinner and then carries it to the balcony. The compact size makes sense in a small home.
On our covered front porch, the 2700K setting is bright enough for conversation without making the space feel like a security light. We bring it inside before bed rather than leave it exposed to weather.
I worried it might tip easily because of the open lantern-style shape, but the roughly 2.2-pound build feels planted on our narrow side table. It has survived plenty of accidental bumps from our dog.
I have a deep bookcase with no built-in lighting. The lamp fits on one shelf because it's under seven inches tall and creates a soft glow around the books without needing a cable routed behind everything.
We used two of these between greenery and serving platters at Thanksgiving. The bases are small enough not to steal table space, and 2200K looked much more flattering than the overhead chandelier at full brightness.
The black finish can pick up fingerprints when I grab the frame, so I try to handle it by the lower section and wipe it with a soft dry cloth occasionally. The lamp still looks sharp and feels sturdy.
We use the 2200K setting for late-night feedings. It is warm enough that the room doesn't suddenly feel wide awake, and the touch control means I can adjust it without fumbling for a switch behind furniture.
The silver finish was a good match for the chrome details on our vintage credenza. The shape is modern but simple, so it doesn't compete with the furniture. I mostly use 2700K at medium brightness.
We don't have a ceiling fixture over the dining table, and this is much nicer than eating under the kitchen lights. The warm setting creates a small pool of light that makes our one-bedroom apartment feel more intentional.
There isn't an outlet anywhere near our entry console. This little lamp sits under a mirror and gives just enough light for keys and mail. The 6.9-inch height also stays well below the bottom of the frame.
We bought the black version for a concrete-top kitchen island. The lantern frame gives the counter a little structure, and the warm 2700K light softens what could otherwise be a pretty cool-looking space.
The roughly six-hour full charge is longer than I expected. I forgot to charge it before a backyard dinner once and had to use another light. As long as I put it on the base earlier in the day, the runtime has been fine.
We usually run the lamp dimmed for dinner and a few hours afterward. It has never died in the middle of an evening for us, and I just return it to the base before bed.
The small base was the deciding factor. It sits beside bottles and glassware without taking over the cart, and the gold finish catches the warm light in a really nice way after dark.
We put it at the end of our game table where a cord would normally get in the way. The 3000K setting makes cards and small pieces easier to see, and the diffuser prevents that sharp LED glare across the table.
At 188 lumens, this is definitely an accent or table light rather than a substitute for a floor lamp. That's exactly what I wanted for our den. On low brightness it keeps the room relaxed while we watch movies.
This spends most evenings on a wicker side table on the screened porch. The black aluminum frame has enough visual weight next to the outdoor furniture, while the diffused light stays comfortable when you're sitting close to it.
Most small LEDs still feel too cool in the evening. This one can go down to 2200K, which looks almost candle-warm against our plaster walls and linen sofa.
I like being able to set the lamp back on its charging base instead of plugging a cable into the lamp itself. You do need to place it squarely on the base, but the routine is easy once you get used to it.
I was nervous the gold would look too bright next to our walnut furniture, but it reads as a restrained accent in the room. The 2200K light makes the metal look especially warm at night.
